What You'll Do:

  • Assist with the operation and maintenance of the City's wastewater lift stations. 
  • Learn how to inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain pumps, alarms, and control systems. 
  • Develop hands-on experience with electrical components and mechanical systems. 
  • Monitor equipment performance and help identify potential issues before they arise.
  • Work alongside skilled technicians and contribute to a team that keeps critical infrastructure running.
  • Train in safe and efficient procedures for lift station operations and emergency responses

What are the requirements to be considered?


• A High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age. 
• One (1) year of experience in performing semi-skilled building, mechanical maintenance tasks on pumping equipment or related work. 
• Possess a valid driver's license and must be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position.
• Be willing and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Be able to pass a background investigation, drug and alcohol, Pulmonary Fitness (PFT), and physical capability screenings.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:  The starting hourly wage is $20.06 per hour and will increase to $20.86 per hour after 6 months of successful probation.

WORK HOURS:        Day Time hours. Shifts May vary.
WORK LOCATION:   In and around the City of Branson, Missouri; This position requires work to be performed onsite.
