Shop Mechanic/Reconditioning Technician

Hull Lift Truck, Inc. is currently seeking a Service Technician for our Reconditioning facility in Elkhart, IN. The Service Tech will perform maintenance, quality repairs and restoration to lift trucks, floor cleaning and other industrial equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide well reconditioned used lift trucks to the sales department
- Complete condition evaluations of used equipment
- Perform diagnostic procedures across a variety of component systems
- Recondition equipment utilizing our state-of-the-art paint booth
- Repair a variety of equipment that involve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of automotive experience including working on farm equipment, boats, fork trucks, or other similar equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to diagnose multiple equipment types
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Working knowledge of schematics and diagrams
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Welding or painting experience a plus
- Ability to lift objects up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
