Current Shift Schedule is 24/48 moving to a 48/96 Shift Schedule in January 2026
To join our crew, you'll need:
- Certification in Firefighter I & II through the Missouri Division of Fire Safety, IFSAC, or Pro-Board.
- A current Missouri EMT license.
- Valid CPR certification.
Preferred Skills & Experience - What sets you apart
- One (1) year of experience.
- National Registry EMT (NREMT).
The Miscellaneous Requirements Needed for the position
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess and maintain a valid Motor Vehicle Operator's license and be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position.
- Vision be correctable to 20/40. Need to pass the Ishihara color vision test and/or be able to recognize the colors of traffic signals and devices showing red, green, and amber; and meet established hearing standards as outlined in NFPA 1582.
- Be able to pass a background investigation, drug and alcohol screenings, and post-offer medical evaluation.
