WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a key member of the IT team, the Software Developer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that support and optimize manufacturing processes. This position requires strong expertise in computer software principles and a deep understanding of IT technologies. Other expectations may include:

  • Develop and enhance software applications to support and optimize manufacturing operations while ensuring high performance, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Build, refine, and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures to strengthen data management and system efficiency.
  • Work with hardware components to integrate software solutions and enhance functionality.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement bug fixes to maintain reliable software and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams and engineers to gather requirements, analyze feedback, and implement software improvements that deliver effective solutions.
  • Contribute to a small, dynamic team with broad responsibilities, influencing multiple aspects of the company's operations.
  • This full-time, onsite role is based in Bend, OR, and requires in-person attendance. 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

  • 5+ years of hands-on Software Development experience
  • Strong proficiency in Object Pascal / Delphi and other programming languages, knowledge of software architecture and best practices
  • Extensive experience working with SQL databases: Firebird (preferred), MsSQL, MySQL, etc., ensuring efficient data management and performance optimization
  • Solid understanding of networking technologies, APIs, and web services
  • Experience in database and server administration, ensuring reliable operations and security
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future
