How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

We are looking for a Drafter II to join our Microwave Systems team in Goa, India. This resource will be responsible for MWS R&D engineering design release & production support.

 

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Being responsible for new products drawing release in SAP.
• Supporting mechanical engineers in projects for product related 3D CAD modeling and drafting.
• Being responsible for maintaining Document Information Record of MWS products in SAP and taking initiative to drive for completion.
• Providing support to production and other related departments with documentation trouble shooting.
• Supporting in mechanical prototype and mechanical samples.
• Leading documentation projects.
• Being involved in part inspection (FAI) and track part evaluations (FAE).
• Sharing responsibilities with check drawings to ensure their accuracy

 

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with preferably 5 years of related experience or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with preferably 3 years of related experience.
• Hands on experience and good knowledge of Solidworks or similar 3D CAD software.
• Able to read, interpret, create part & assembly drawings with minimal guidance using Solidworks or similar 3D CAD software.
• Understanding of assembly BOM structure.
• Knowledge of GD&T & tolerance analysis.
• Good written and verbal communication skill in English

 

You Will Excite Us If You:

• Are familiar with ERP software like SAP, data management software's like Solidworks workgroup PDM, Windchill etc. & having earlier experience working with New Project implementation team.
• Have exposure to Machining, Casting and Extrusion part design, knowledge of Solidworks macros and keen at learning, improvising things.
