Construction Project Manager

Our Bridgehampton, NY client is hiring an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee substantial renovations at their residence.

This individual will manage all aspects of construction, renovations, system upgrades, and preventative maintenance planning ensuring the highest standards are upheld.

Ideal applicants will have extensive experience in fine home construction. Verifiable references confirming significant job-site experience are essential. A background in Finish Carpentry is highly valued.

You must reside within a manageable daily commute of the Bridgehampton residence. A generous relocation stipend and housing allowance is available for the right candidate.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all construction and renovation projects at the property
  • Daily monitoring of all projects to ensure they are completed to an elevated standard. Take photos, complete reports, and document detailed vendor meeting minutes
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and trades to ensure elevated standards are upheld
  • Monitor and track spending to maintain alignment with the annual capital (Cap Ex) and operating (Op Ex) budgets
  • Schedule, track, and manage routine and preventative maintenance at the property
  • Oversee a semi-annual reset at the residence, including deep cleaning, touch-up painting, and other maintenance tasks

 

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years experience as a Construction Project Manager specifically with fine home residential construction
  • Boots on the ground experience on job sites is essential
  • In-depth knowledge of best industry practices, compliance, and permit requirements throughout the U.S
  • A background in the trades or a degree in a relevant field is preferred
  • Impeccable professional history with verifiable references
  • Solid executive skill set: mature, positive, proactive, and persistent
  • Exceptional process, project, analytical, communication, and time management skills
  • Service-focused mindset
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours if needed
  • Tech-savvy and able to quickly grasp new programs and applications.
  • Experience managing Cap Ex and Op Ex budgets.

 

Schedule:

  • Generally, Monday through Friday, business hours, with flexibility required for weekend and holiday work as needed.

 

Compensation:

  • Our client offers a competitive $135,000–$165,000 annual base salary
  • Housing allowance of up to $70,000 depending on experience and relocation need
  • The benefits package includes an annual discretionary bonus, a healthcare stipend of $20,000, PTO, paid holiday, and sick days.
