- Base Wage Electrical $48.00 / hr
- Night Shift Premium - $2.00/hr
- LOA outside 80Km - $150.00/day
- Completion Incentive - $100.00/day

Project Details: PTW has been awarded this project to replace SIS/DCS control systems within an operational brownfield facility, with major construction and commissioning activities scheduled during an upcoming outage. The scope includes SIS/DCS system upgrades across five critical buildings, integration of new and existing infrastructure, and comprehensive loop testing and device calibration to ensure reliable system performance.
Construction: Replacing the existing SIS/DCS control systems across five major buildings on-site, including upgrades to power supplies and redundancy modules to enhance system reliability. The scope also includes installing fiber patches and Profinet connections, as well as terminating both new and legacy flying leads to ensure seamless integration with the DCS and SIS systems. Assisting in replacing field devices; level switches, beacons, solenoids & tubing.
Commissioning: Performing comprehensive loop checks for approximately 5,000 analog and discrete I/O points, ensuring system functionality and accuracy. Conducting device calibrations across the facility and verifying valve travel from 0% to 100%. Executing thorough fire and gas detection system testing to confirm reliability. Collaborating with the Automation Team to troubleshoot loops as needed. Concluding with shutdown key testing upon successful completion of all loop checks.
Requirements:
- Must possess construction and maintenance electrical experience.
- Must be a certified electrical Journeyperson.
- Must be able to take initiative, work independently as well as in a team.
- Must be reliable and dependable (i.e.: punctual and ready to work).
- Excellent communication skills.
- A demonstrated ability to work safely.
- Must have valid safety tickets (CSO, Standard First Aid, ESC Fall Protection and H2S Alive)
- A valid Class 5 driver's license is required.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.
