We are looking for a highly skilled and discreet professional to manage a prestigious residence in the Georgetown area of Washington DC. The ideal candidate will have experience in private homes and a strong administrative skill set. A military background will resonate with the principals.

 

The ideal candidate will understand the protocols required in DC and be prepared to manage a high-profile household with efficiency and discretion. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, catering to the needs of distinguished principals in the heart of Georgetown.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the principals' residence
• Manage vendors and completion of the renovation punch list
• Prepare meals, including hors d'oeuvres, breakfasts, and light lunches
• Maintain floral arrangements
• Manage inventories, order supplies, and run errands
• Care for dogs, including twice daily walks and managing appointments
• Coordinate events, manage outside caterers and staff, with attention to detail
• Support principal in the kitchen and learn family recipes
• Manage principals' wardrobes and assist with packing

 

Qualities:

• Exceptional household management skills
• Strong administrative skill set
• Concise communication style with an appreciation for a quiet atmosphere
• Highly discreet and professional
• Adaptable to last-minute requests and entertaining
• Skilled in coordinating frequent social events
• Proficient cook, especially in preparing hors d'oeuvres and light meals
• Military background appreciated

 

Schedule and Work Environment:

• Monday-Friday with weekend flexibility or Tuesday-Saturday
• Flexibility to accommodate on busy weeks is appreciated as there will be quieter periods
• Dedicated workspace provided in the residence

 

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary range: $150,000 - $175,000
• Health insurance and other benefits provided
