We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-facing Distributed Antenna System (DAS) Construction Supervisor to oversee the installation of DAS systems across various job sites. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in DAS or a related field, with a strong foundation in RF technology and data cabling. This hands-on role requires the ability to effectively guide installation teams, resolve technical challenges, and ensure project completion in compliance with safety standards and timelines. This position is remote with up to 50% travel. The candidate can be located anywhere in the United States. 

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • DAS Installation Supervision: Overseeing the installation of DAS systems, ensuring adherence to established techniques, industry standards, and project specifications.
  • On-Site Project Coordination: Planning and managing on-site activities, including resource allocation, scheduling, and task delegation, to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Stakeholder Interaction: Collaborating with clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate the successful and timely delivery of each project.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforcing safety protocols and regulations, ensuring the protection of the installation crew and compliance with all relevant safety standards.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Addressing and resolving minor technical issues that arise during the installation process.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records of installation progress, including daily reports and quality control documentation.
  • Crew Training and Mentorship: Training and mentoring installation teams, ensuring adherence to company policies, industry best practices, and safety guidelines.
  • Quality Assurance Testing: Using specialized equipment, including spectrum analyzers and Fluke meters, to verify installation quality and performance.

Subcontractor Management:

  • Coordination and Oversight: Managing and coordinating the activities of subcontractors engaged in the project.
  • Performance Evaluation: Ensuring subcontractors meet project requirements, adhere to design specifications, and comply with safety standards.
  • Feedback and Improvement: Evaluating subcontractor performance, providing constructive feedback to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in DAS, RF, or related cabling installation fields.
  • Experience with DAS installations in large-scale commercial venues (e.g., stadiums, arenas).
  • In-depth understanding of Fiber Optic and Coaxial Cable systems, including testing methodologies (e.g., OTDR, DTF, PIM, Return Loss).
  • Proficient in the use of testing tools such as spectrum analyzers, Fluke meters, and Sweep Testers.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret floor plans, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Microsoft Visio is required. 
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education or industry certifications are preferred.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in dynamic environments.

  • Have a OSHA 10 certification (can be completed during onboarding).
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of DAS and RF systems.
  • Offer a Basic knowledge of iBWave.

Travel Requirements:

  • This role requires travel up to 50% of the time to job sites nationwide.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily office-based, with frequent travel to various installation sites.
  • Exposure to various sounds or noise levels at project sites.
  • While on-site, the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, and safety boots is required.
