Summary

The Social Media Specialist drives ATS's social media strategy, establishing our public voice and engaging audiences across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, X, Youtube and more.

Using tools like Google Analytics and tag manager, CRM, and platform-specific insights, they will optimize organic and paid social strategies to boost engagement and conversions.

This role is pivotal in shaping ATS's brand and reputation, directly impacting company growth, customer engagement, and talent acquisition through innovative, data-driven social strategies. The Social Media Specialist promotes company culture, reinforces the brand, and creates compelling, data-driven content that supports business growth.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in social media management, with a strong preference for B2B marketing and recruiting experience.
  • Expertise with Adobe Suite, Google Suite, CRM, and other social media management platforms.
  • Proficient in social media analytics and reporting tools, with a strong understanding of how to use data to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal), with the ability to craft professional, brand-aligned responses independently.
  • Deep understanding of social media best practices and emerging technologies, with experience developing and executing strategies for corporate communications, PR, or customer relations to drive engagement and conversions.
  • Willing and able to travel occasionally, including overnight travel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies that align with ATS's brand and business goals, serving both recruiting and business development audiences.
  • Create and manage social media content calendars, collaborating with content creation teams and aligning with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Build annual social media strategies, managing and optimizing the social media budget.

Content Creation & Engagement:

  • Produce and publish fresh, creative content that engages and educates ATS's audiences, reinforcing ATS as a leader in the shipping industry.
  • Work with design and videography resources to create visually appealing social media content that adheres to brand guidelines.
  • Develop compelling calls-to-action (CTAs) and social media campaigns to drive traffic.
  • Capture daily social content, including photography and videography, as needed.
  • Monitor and respond to social media inquiries and reviews across all platforms.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Use data-driven insights to inform social strategies and optimize content performance, driving engagement and conversion rates.
  • Own the performance and growth of social media channels, adjusting tactics based on analytics.
  • Develop reporting dashboards for leadership, generating monthly reports on social media performance and campaign effectiveness.
  • Integrate social media activity into CRM for consistent reporting and monitoring.

Innovation & Optimization:

  • Stay up to date on social media trends and emerging tools, experimenting with new techniques to keep ATS's social presence cutting-edge.
  • Conduct A/B testing and other strategies to enhance engagement and improve conversion rates.

Compensation & Benefits

  • The anticipated base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $68,000. Base salary offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, and geographic as compared to others doing substantially similar work. In addition to the base salary, employees may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which can vary depending on individual and/or company performance.
