Junior Systems Architect/IT Engineer
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Infrastructure

Provide Tier 1 Desk Support to all employees by reviewing and resolving tickets with the Fruth Group.

Liaise with the Fruth Group on support tickets and infrastructure projects, fostering collaboration.

Conduct weekly status meetings to address outstanding support tickets.

Serve as a key contact for IT vendors and Internet Service Providers.

Review IT vendor contracts and equipment leases for CEO approval.
-
Assist in requisitioning and purchasing IT equipment.

Maintain and inventory IT assets accurately.
-
Contribute to assessing cybersecurity and infrastructure needs.

Organize server rooms for safety and efficiency.
-
Ensure infrastructure supports seamless business operations.
Applications

Maintain subscribed applications, including Microsoft products.

Promote optimal use of current systems across the organization.

Support the creation of insightful reports.
-
Liaise with software vendors to ensure functionality.
-
Participate in implementing new projects effectively.
Reporting

Prepare weekly updates that outline project progress and address any issues, while sharing recommendations with executives.

Additionally, assist with tasks assigned by your supervisor to support team goals.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Degree in IT infrastructure or technology.

At least one year of relevant experience or equivalent education.

Stay updated on new technologies and system changes.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
