Southeast Warehouse Manager
General Focus and Scope of Responsibility:
The Southeast Warehouse Manager, located in Ladson, SC (North Charleston area) will ensure that product is properly received and shipped in an accurate, safe and timely manner. Warehouse Leads report directly to the Director of Supply Chain Solution. The SE Warehouse Manager is responsible to enhance the strength and growth of the customer base of ATS Logistics Regional Warehouses (2) by planning, directing and controlling all sales, marketing and warehouse functions, supervising and coordinating the activities of the location by guiding quality, efficiency, and productivity improvement efforts including P&L responsibilities. Additional responsibilities include booking freight, quoting, sales, marketing & promotion along with partnering with recruiting & interviewing local staff.
Inventory Management and Shipping/Receiving
On a day-to-day basis, lead quality control efforts to accurately inspect, identify, handle, consolidate, label, palletize and ship inventory per Company policy; promptly reconcile and report inventory discrepancies to management.
Prepare and build customized crates to ship all customer orders in an accurate, effective and timely manner.
Complete regularly assigned special loss control / physical inventory activities such as cycle counting, spot inventory checks and inventory research projects; review required reports and ensure validity of inventory documentation.

Follow all Company safety requirements and safety training programs to achieve full compliance with Company requirements; immediately notify management of any concerns regarding safety, security, dangerous situations or potentially illegal or unethical activities

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities to meet the day to day demands of the position:
- 2 year AAS Degree in a related field or 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the transportation industry.
- 3+ years' warehouse, logistics and trucking experience.
- 1+ year's warehouse supervisor experience and/or related field.
- Solid understanding of distribution environments, including inventory and warehouse operations.
- Ability to multitask and work independently with precise detail and follow-up reporting
- 2+ year experience building crates and/or woodworking experience, preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Physical Demands
Physical requirements of the position include walking, standing, reaching, sitting, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and bending on a regular basis; ability to speak and hear; ability to visually detect product color and shade variation; lifting up to 75 pounds (seek assistance when necessary); operating a forklift; operating overhead crane
Work Conditions
Work conditions for Warehouse Manager include working in enclosed warehouse spaces and outdoors in all weather conditions, including hot, cold, wet and dry weather; the work environment includes moving over and / or around obstacles on the ground, and working in the vicinity of operating forklifts.
Compensation & Benefits
- Total cash compensation range of this position is $73,000 to $102,000 including a base salary range of $63,000 to $88,000 plus the position specific monthly incentive opportunity.
- Base salary offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, and geographic location as compared to others doing substantially similar work. In addition to the base salary, employees may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which can vary depending on individual and/or company performance.
