Warranty/RMA Specialist

WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a member of the Purchasing Team, the Warranty/RMA (Return Material Authorization) Specialist is tasked with organizing material returns to vendors and keeping accurate, detailed records. They will review return information and make sure that it is accurate; this information may be presented to other parties within the company to help improve product quality. Additionally, the Warranty/RMA specialist will review return information to help pinpoint RMA trends occurring with specific products or vendors. The Warranty/RMA Specialist will be responsible for the logistics of moving all returned material to and from the vendor, and resolving disputes and claims that may arise with vendors and suppliers related to the returned product. Some overtime and weekend hours may be requested. Other tasks may include:
- Process returns for non-conforming materials and products
- Coordinate replacement parts and parts repairs on warranty claims
- Keep information accessible by sorting and filing documents
- Assist customer service with RMA processing as needed
- Work closely with internal departments such as Purchasing, Administration, Accounting, Customer Service, and Manufacturing
- Document and report RMA trends/repetitive problems to your supervisor
- Maintain and organize RMA parts inventory
- Maintain, review, and update process documentation on a regular basis; creating new documents as required
- Review current Warranty/RMA processes on a regular basis and implement changes to the process as required
- Resolve disputes with the suppliers related to returned parts and materials
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
- Return or Warranty administration experience in a manufacturing environment
- Detail-oriented, self-directed, self-motivated, and prompt
- Strong time management skills
- Friendly personality and good communication skills
- Ability to stay organized and deliver in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion and move about the facility to support the work
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future
