IT Business Analysis Support
We are looking for a detail-oriented IT Business Analyst & Project Support Specialist to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This role will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, documenting functional and technical specifications, and providing project support to ensure the successful execution of IT initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, gather and analyze requirements, and define priorities for technology solutions.
- Translate conceptual user requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Conduct research and recommend solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance user experience.
Technical Documentation & Project Reporting
- Develop and maintain project deliverables, including project plans, action items, risks, issues, and status reports.
- Document and validate business requirements to create functional and technical documents that define user needs.
- Conduct analysis and investigations into technical issues, prepare reports, and make recommendations for resolution.
Project Support & Administrative Assistance
- Provide administrative and project support to assigned Project Managers.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for senior management and key stakeholders.
- Research and analyze data to support decision-making within IT projects.
Process Improvement & Solution Recommendations
- Analyze current workflows and processes to identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure that solutions align with business goals and technical feasibility.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in IT business analysis, project coordination, or related fields.
Proficiency in business analysis tools, requirement-gathering techniques, and workflow modeling.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), project management software, and data visualization tools.
Experience in analyzing business processes and recommending technology-driven improvements.
Preferred Qualifications:
? Experience with agile methodologies, user acceptance testing (UAT), and software development life cycle (SDLC).
? Strong understanding of public sector IT projects, infrastructure, or enterprise technology solutions.
