Data Analyst

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. We have design, sales, and manufacturing locations globally and are currently seeking a Data Analyst to join our Cable Backplane Systems team located in Etters, PA.

 

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in data analytics, statistical analysis, and data reporting. The primary responsibilities include gathering and analyzing data to support business decisions and factory optimization. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Data Collection and Cleaning: Gather data from various sources and ensure its accuracy and completeness.
  • Data Analysis: Use statistical techniques and software tools to analyze data and identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Reporting: Create reports and visualizations to present findings to stakeholders, including executives and team members.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide insights that support their goals.
  • Database Management: Design and maintain databases and data systems to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business decisions.
  • Manage and maintain SharePoint sites to ensure effective collaboration and information sharing.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing regular data quality checks.
  • Automate data collection and reporting processes to improve efficiency.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in data analytics and visualization.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, data science, or a related field required. MS preferred.
  • 2+ years' experience in data analysis, data engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with statistical programs such as JMP or MiniTAB
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
