IT/Billing Analyst

Full-time/ 40 hours

Monday - Thursday; 7:30am-5:30pm; Friday 8:00am-12:00pm

  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively within the organization to serve agency operations' needs.
  • Knowledge and general understanding of IT application systems.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Process clinical and service data in the authorized delivery, storage, and retrieval system of Indian Rivers.
  • Prepare service reports to meet IRBH and DMH guidelines.
  • Maintain and monitor client database for accurate reporting.
  • Ongoing maintenance of billing specifications per requirements.
  • Perform all weekly and monthly billing.
  • Responsible for developing, writing, and maintaining monthly and on-demand billing reports.
  • Responsible for updating service fees in the EHR system.
  • Responsible for monthly State reporting to the Department of Mental Health.
  • Responsible for upkeep and maintenance of billing templates.
  • Prepare billing error reports and distribute them to department managers.
  • Prepare weekly pre-bill edit reports for distribution to department managers.
  • Credential licensed providers with approved guarantors/payers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. High School diploma or GED equivalent required, and a minimum of three years IS experience OR
  2. Associate's, technical, or non-IS Bachelor's degree and a minimum of one year of IS experience OR
  3. Bachelor's degree in CS/CIS/MIS.
  4. Experience in Microsoft Office and Microsoft applications required.
  5. Must be able to read, write legibly, speak, and comprehend English.
