How You'll Help Us Connect the World:
As NPI Manager, Indoor Wireless Network, you will be responsible for New Product Introductions as part of the Indoor Cellular Network (ICN) business unit. You will work closely with business operations, software and hardware design, system validation, technical support and product line management to successfully gain operator approvals and introduce new products and new versions of the product to the field. The location of this role is flexible, though preference would be Dallas.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Collaborating with business operations, design, and system validation teams to define the scope and develop new features for Indoor Wireless open Open Radio Access Network (O-RAN), Common Public Radio Interface (CPRI), and Radio Frequency (RF) products.
- Partnering with Radio Access Network (RAN) suppliers such as Samsung and Ericsson to validate end-to-end solutions, working together to create product test cases and overseeing the execution of joint validations.
- Coordinating with all three operators to secure product approvals in their labs and managing the First Field Application (FFA) at initial live sites. Working with operators to define approval criteria and conducting reviews, as well as generating approval reports.
- Serving as the lead representative for product functionality and quality of new products being introduced to the field. Collaborating with software and hardware design teams, along with product line management, on product roadmaps.
- Working with Day 2 support teams to ensure knowledge transfer for product releases at the General Availability (GA) milestone.
- Leading the team in gaining expertise in Outdoor Radio Networks (ORN) solutions and Andrew's Indoor Cellular Network implementation and interoperability.
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
- Degree in Engineering or related field and 7+ number of years of relevant experience
- Proven experience working with customers, and operators
- Experience leading teams both technically and through projects deployment
- Industry experience with Wireless New Product Introductions and Operator Approvals
