Shop Mechanic

Equix Integrity Southeast provides services to the Water/Wastewater collection systems industry, to both the public and private sectors. Our team of professionals have decades of experience in the Clean & TV, Inspection, Rehabilitation and Cross Bore markets. We have a current opening for a Shop Mechanic.

 

 

Responsibilities:

• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
• Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair
• Communicates with the floor lead / supervisor to obtain parts needed
• Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
• Diagnoses, Maintains, and Repairs all Vehicle Systems Including Engine, Transmission, Electrical Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Climate, Computer, and Electronics
• Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order
• Road tests vehicles when required
• Knowledge in all Aspects of Automotive Repair and Maintenance
• Ability to Learn New Technology and Procedures
• Ability to Operate Electronic Diagnostic Equipment
• Fast Learner with a Problem-Solving Attitude
• Successful applicants must provide their own tools
• Keeps shop area neat and clean

 

 

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• 2+ years of experience preferred
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with others
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with a team
• Basic computer skills
• Bi-lingual would be preferred
