Accounts Receivable/Payable Clerk

Hull Lift Truck, Inc. is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable/Payable Clerk at our Elkhart, IN corporate office.  This role will be responsible for the accurate receipt, preparation and posting of customer payments to Accounts Receivable and assisting in the processing of vendor invoices through the Accounts Payable TrinDocs program.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Receive in the daily AR checks and prepare them to be scanned to the bank for deposit 
• Scan the checks to the bank and reconcile the actual deposit amount
• Post the deposit to the correct customer AR accounts, accurately relieving the proper invoices owed
• Scan remittances so the server
• Assist in identifying, researching, and resolving discrepancies in customer payments
• Assist with incoming customer emails or phone calls requesting assistance regarding their account
• Backup Credit Manager when needed on various duties such as changing credit limits and opening new customer accounts
• Assist when needed in preparation and mailing monthly customer statements of account
• Assist in maintenance of customer credit files
• Set up new customer accounts in ELC

 

Qualifications:

• Two years of Accounts Receivable experience
• Knowledge of Excel, with above average math skills, and a strong analytical ability
• Accuracy and attention to detail is critical
• Ability to research information in business systems is especially important.
• Ability to interact with employees and customers efficiently and diplomatically
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
