Warehouse Supervisor

Our mechanical system insulation inventory runs deep, with products from a variety of manufacturers.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse activities, including shipping/receiving, inventory management, and scheduling deliveries. The Warehouse Supervisor will work closely with the Operations Manager and Customer Service Representatives to ensure smooth daily operations. A key part of the role is to lead by example, build strong relationships with employees and customers, and maintain a safe and efficient warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

Supervisory:

  • Oversee and manage all warehouse operations and activities.
  • Review and coordinate daily purchase orders and sales orders for both incoming and outbound shipments.
  • Assign and manage delivery routes for drivers.

Safety Monitoring:

  • Ensure daily forklift safety checklist is completed.
  • Enforce all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Shipping and Receiving:

  • Keep paperwork up to date, including processing back orders, proper billing, and returns.
  • Unload and inspect all inbound products, including verifying packing lists and counts.
  • Verify and inspect all freight upon delivery and note any discrepancies on receiving paperwork.

Maintenance:

  • Ensure drivers are regularly checking and maintaining box trucks.
  • Oversee the inspection and maintenance of forklifts.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse, property, dock areas, and buildings.

Qualifications:

  • Prior supervisory or management experience is preferred.
  • General knowledge of building materials.
  • Proficient in basic Microsoft Office programs.
  • Previous forklift experience.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Logistics or shipping/receiving experience preferred.
  • Bilingual is preferred but not required.
