Groundskeeper
Job Summary: Entry level position maintaining existing landscaping for facilities. Performs routine light maintenance tasks in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting or other facilities repair.
Essential Functions:
- Perform routine grounds keeping, including but not limited to: grass cutting, weeding, spraying, pruning, tree removal, planting, trimming, pond maintenance, exterior debris pick-up, snow and pest removal,
- Perform light maintenance tasks, including but not limited to equipment cleaning and maintenance, painting, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry repair, filter changes, oil changes, heavy commercial cleaning, general facilities repair and maintenance.
- Perform monthly equipment checks.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and complies with company safety policies at all times.
- Operates equipment such as but not limited to fork/scissor lift and riding lawn mower, in the performance of the position responsibilities.
- Other duties as assigned.

- High School diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to work on ladders/lifts.
- Ability to work extended hours as required.
- Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body.
- Be able to reach overhead.
- Be able to work in various positions including, but not limited to: stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for sustained periods of time.
- Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks.
- Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday.
Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions, which can be extreme. The noise levels in the work environment are usually moderate.
