IT Project Manager

Position Summary

The Loffler Project Manager is accountable for the full Project Lifecycle and will manage a portfolio consisting of multiple active IT and UC projects. The Project Manager will have sufficient experience to lead and recommend the proper methodology for any project or program. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, the ability to effectively manage projects and people with minimal guidance, management of stakeholder expectations, measuring and accurately reporting project progress and success, and presentation of results to technical and business audiences. The position serves as a liaison between Loffler's multiple teams, customers and IT service representatives. This position requires the ability to build and maintain effective working partnerships with multiple diverse groups and audiences.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage IT and UC project from inception to completion.
  • Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) which include utilization, budget and due dates.
  • Effectively use Loffler Project Tools for project communication and collaboration.
  • Accurately ticket for time management and project status updates.
  • Complete required reporting.
  • Utilize calendaring and manage cadence activities.
  • Execute internal project team objectives to help enhance and create better consistency for the organization.
  • Schedule and document the resources and logistics needed for the project.
  • Maintain and monitor project scope, risk, and develop appropriate cadence activities for meetings and reporting.
  • Maintain project plan with updated status, dates, notes and change requests.
  • Complete and maintain documentation ensuring reflected on project plan.
  • Continuously look for new ways to enhance the project process and use of toolkits.
  • Serve as a liaison between engineers, customers, sales, and other units of the organizations throughout the project lifecycle to ensure resolution of issues and completion of tasks.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of technical and business project team members; additionally know when to take corrective action, including escalation through management layers.
  • Perform non-project related activities including relationship management, team building, attending meetings, and other administrative activities.
  • Invoice projects during and after completion for timely labor invoices.
  • Assist with cross training in other areas of the department to fill in where needed.
  • Responsible for understanding, staying updated on, and abiding by the Employee Handbook as written.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:        

  • Strong attention to detail and follow through skills.
  • Superior leadership, customer service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Project Management practices.
  • Ability to multi-task and work with multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Work well under pressure and achieve deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Applications and Project Management Applications.
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent presentation skills, ability to translate business needs into technical terms, and good problem-solving skills.
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable motor vehicle record.

Education/Experience:

  • 3+ years' experience in IT/UC project management; or equivalent experience.
  • 4-year university degree or equivalent experience.
  • PMP or Scrum Master Certification desired.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

The posted range for this position represents a good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum starting compensation for this role. In addition to the base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health and dental insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
