How You'll Help Us Connect the World.

Provide leadership and support to assigned product lines as well as support product extensions for new applications. Product lines may include both copper and fiber connectors, patch panels, cable assemblies, enclosures, accessories, and application tools. Apply existing processes and available resources to bring new products to market, coordinate to resolve issues, and lead teams to problem resolution.

You will make an impact by...

1. Act as technical product line owner and offer technical assistance and/or leadership to both internal and external customers as required.
2. Lead and/or manage projects using functional or multi-functional team members to improve performance, manufacturability, or cost
3. Lead training and troubleshooting activities during NPI phase
4. Serve as the primary technical contact between R&D and production sites for resolving product-related issues
5. Evaluate functional and performance requirements of products to ensure initial and ongoing compliance with design objectives and customer/industry requirements.
6. Evaluate product or component non conformances for use via temporary deviation authorizations.
7. Evaluate, process, and manage to finish the engineering change activity associated with responsible product lines or assigned projects.
8. Participate in peer reviews and brainstorming sessions to find opportunities for continuous improvement or to mitigate business risks.
9. Participate in the evaluation of product quality complaints and resolution.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

1. Bachelor of Telecommunication RF Engineering or related curriculum with 3-5 experience.
2. Experienced with RF filters and related technologies, preferred background in debugging and testing high-power, low-PIM products, with knowledge of digital circuits
3. Ability to effectively interact with varying cultures is a must.
4. Self-starter that requires only general supervision, have strong planning skills, and can take care of and balance multiple and competing priorities. Highly target oriented
5. Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Knowledge of manual and automated assembly methods.

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

1. Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Design tools
2. Knowledge of resins and metal materials, injection molding, stamping and plating, sheet metal design and fabrication, and connector design desirable.
3. Previous experience with printed circuit boards a plus.
4. Understanding of Industry Standards as related to Telecommunications a plus.
5. Experience with CAD engineering tools (Creo, SolidWorks, etc.) and related analytical tools a plus.
