ANDEW is hiring a Warehouse Coordinator to join our Global Manufacturing & Operations team in Agrate, Italy. This role will report into the Operations Manager, but you will have direct daily contact with multiple teams across the facility.
How You'll Help Us Connect the World:
We are seeking an organized and proactive Warehouse Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting warehouse management, material movements, stocking and transfer. You will have a good understanding of logistics, receiving and shipping as well as warehouse inventory and maintenance. Loading and unloading trucks and/or trailers is also important part of this role.
Your ability to build constructive relationships with several supplying parties and communicate in an effective way will be key to thrive in the role.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Unloading shipments, inspecting contents for damage, and verifying accuracy against invoices or order forms.
- Processing material from receiving into stock.
- Being responsible for the timeliness of order picking and fulfillment to support the production process, by guaranteeing that all production orders are pulled, identified and transferred in a timely and accurate manner.
- Supplying production lines and/or kanban location, safely operating with warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and/or pallet truck.
- Determining optimum load configuration of both warehouse storage locations and trucks taking into consideration such factors as weight, dimensions, center of gravity, and sequence of deliveries.
- Entering material transactions for work order issues.
- Ensuring the accurate entry of all inventory-related transactions in SAP to support the production process, including records of materials issued/receive.
- Preparing goods for shipment, including palletizing, wrapping, and identification labels in accordance with specifications and customer or shipper requirements.
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety: Keeping the warehouse clean and organized ensures a safe working environment.
- Coordinating shipping process, booking carriers and generating proper documentation. Relates with customer care
- Having a good understanding of logistic process, including import/export regulations and custom clearance related topics
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
- Professional qualification or equivalent experience requires 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role and manufacturing environment.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet warehouse objectives and maintain operational efficiency.
- Must be able to operate or learn to operate forklift and other material handling equipment.
- Time management and schedule respect.
- PC skills, good skills in database systems and Excel.
