Senior Staff Accountant

Regular responsibilities of the Senior Staff Accountant include completing monthly closing process for divisional and corporate entities. The Senior Staff Accountant will review and prepare journal entries while analyzing and publishing financial statements.
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position are:
- Prepare financial information monthly/quarterly/annually
- Record, verify, and enter journal entries
- Assist in month-end close processes and reconciliations
- Prepare interim and year-end audit work papers
- Analyze general ledger accounts and interpret data utilizing spreadsheets
- Maintain and reconcile fixed assets schedules for internal GAAP books and tax
The right person will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, a minimum of three years of experience in public/private accounting, preferably in manufacturing, and experience with Microsoft Dynamics Ax is a plus.
The right candidate should have the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines, have a strong work ethic and ability to effectively manage multiple talks concurrently, be able to demonstrate problem solving capabilities, have above average technical accounting skills, have excellent written and oral communication skills and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
