Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant is responsible for completing the monthly closing processes for divisional and corporate entities, review and prepare journal entries, analyze and publish financial statements.

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position are:

• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements.
• Process journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist with ongoing audits.
• Financial analysis.
• Fixed Asset Maintenance.
• Provides ERP Software Support for locations nationwide.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
• Willingness to accept and take on new duties, responsibilities, and miscellaneous projects.

The right person will have an associate’s degree in accounting, finance or a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, a minimum of one year of experience in public/private accounting, preferably in manufacturing, and experience with Microsoft Dynamics Ax is a plus.

The right candidate should have the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines, have a strong work ethic and ability to effectively manage multiple talks concurrently, be able to demonstrate problem solving capabilities, have above average technical accounting skills, have excellent written and oral communication skills and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
