How You'll Help Us Connect the World
- Architect and design comprehensive test development plans for RF products, including detailed test fixtures, procedures, and the necessary equipment for accurate testing, while also creating, implementing, and maintaining test software to evaluate RF product performance.
- Develop and maintain high-power RF test fixtures, ensuring they are PIM-friendly, meet industry standards, and provide reliable, low PIM performance, including architecting calibration plans and de-embedding procedures to ensure the accuracy of all tests performed.
- Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to complete the design and manufacturing of test hardware systems.
- Debug and verify test systems to ensure the accuracy, stability, and usability of the test hardware.
- Develop embedded control programs for the control boards of test hardware and provide hardware control interfaces (APIs).
- Analyze and debug test hardware failures, provide technical support, and continuously optimization.
- Generate and manage fixture drawings and documentation that are version-controlled, traceable, and reproducible for production lines.
Required Qualifications and Experience for Consideration
- Proven experience working with RF hardware products.
- Proficiency in using and calibrating RF test equipment and understanding test parameters for RF and microwave products – in particular RF Connectors, RF Base Station Antennas, RF Filters, RF Active Products.
- Strong background in designing and testing high-power, low PIM reliable test fixtures.
- Ability to architect, develop and implement comprehensive test plans, test fixtures and test software.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Automation or Electrical Engineering, 5+ years working experience in test hardware design or test automation.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Familiar the test equipment, test method and test spec for these products.
- Familiar with automation control, visual control, and related hardware devices (e.g., PLC, digital IO, AD/DA, MCU, I2C, SPI etc.).
- Ability to integrate hardware and software and deliver a total test solution. Proficiency in C#, Python, and PLC programming is nice to have.
- Proficient in using ECAD tools to design control circuits and mechanical drawings is a plus.
- Strong self-learning ability, able to learn new technologies and apply them to practical work, such as the integration of machine learning, AI, and test hardware.
