Care Recruitment Specialist - Corona, CA

Inland Respite, Inc. is a company dedicated to serving the developmentally disabled population. Inland Respite, Inc. currently has the opportunity for a Care Recruitment Specialist to join our team in Corona, CA.
 
Position Scope:
A non-exempt position under general direction from the Human Resources Supervisor or their designee, will perform a variety of duties assigned to developing and implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified talent for the organization. Subsequently, will be responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and attending job fairs, recruitment events, interviews, and information sessions, and other duties as assigned.
 
1. Work closely with the HR Department to determine staffing needs for field positions.
2. Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
3. Responsible for sourcing prospective candidates using online databases, and community-based organizations; seek recruitment opportunities online and in person for all field positions.
4. Assist with job postings and advertisement for field positions; updates the Applicant Tracking System as needed; maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, interactions, and other recruiting activities.
5. Proactively recruit new applicants by developing strategies to attract and engage candidates, while focusing on defining and driving key metrics.
6. Set goals to meet the defined recruiting targets; identify and communicate continuous improvement opportunities and strategies.
7. Generate leads and perform high-volume outbound calls (cold calling as needed).
8. Organize, register, and participate in recruiting events, career fairs, and networking opportunities.
9. Develop materials for recruiting and networking events in conjunction with the HR Supervisor or their designee.
10. Responsible for maintaining inventories for all items utilized at recruitment/networking events and execute fund planning and requests.
11. Utilize excellent written and verbal communication skills to persuasively present job opportunities to potential candidates.
12. Share information with candidates about the application and hiring process; assist applicants with completing the application requirements.
13. Schedule and conduct interviews for Care Providers; assist with evaluating candidates to determine if they would be an efficient addition to the company.
14. Establish and maintain professional relationships with past applicants, potential candidates, colleges, local organizations, and the community as needed.
15. Ability to travel for recruiting, networking, and community events.
16. Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices.
17. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
18. Ability to function appropriately within all HR-related company platforms.
19. Continuously strive to provide excellent customer service, interpersonal communication and serve as a source of accurate information.
 
Secondary Duties: 
1. Assist in other administrative areas of the organization when needed.
2. Assist with department projects as needed.
3. Assist with employer branding initiatives.
4. When called upon, will assist with updating job descriptions and specifications.
5. Attend all mandatory meetings in a timely manner.
 
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
1. High school graduate or equivalent (GED) plus an Associate's Degree education in human resources management, business administration or a related field of study (2 years of experience may be substituted for 1 year of post-secondary education).
2. Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English and Spanish (Bilingual Preferred).
3. Ability to type 30 wpm and do basic business arithmetic.
4. Practical experience in recruiting and/or talent acquisition (2 years); knowledgeable in general employment law.
5. Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
6. Practical application of MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Teams for Windows required.
7. Practical application of HelloSign and/or DocuSign and other cloud-based e-signature solutions/digital platforms.
8. Ability to use standard office machines such as a personal computer, calculator, copier, fax machine, telephone, etc.
9. Ability to utilize video and audio conferencing and online chat-based platforms such as Zoom.
10. Valid California Driver's License.
