Holy Family School of Faith is a well-established, Catholic non-profit organization with a mission: Lead People to Jesus through Prayer, Community, and Personal Investment. For the past 20 years, we have succeeded by cultivating a highly entrepreneurial culture and establishing a solid financial foundation. We are seeking a dedicated Annual Fund Manager to help scale our ministry's development efforts and donor engagement.
Position Summary
The Annual Fund Manager plays a critical role in donor retention, renewal, and acquisition through multi-channel fundraising efforts. This individual will coordinate annual giving campaigns, cultivate donor relationships, and implement data-driven fundraising strategies to support the mission of School of Faith.
This role requires a detail-oriented, strategic, and relationship-focused professional who can effectively execute fundraising appeals, analyze campaign performance, and collaborate with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate is passionate about faith-based fundraising, has strong project management skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
As a key member of the fundraising team, the Annual Fund Manager works closely with the Development Director, Community Development Director and the Database Systems Manager to ensure seamless donor engagement and retention strategies that contribute to the overall success of the mission.
Key Responsibilities
1. Annual Giving & Donor Retention Management
- Develop and execute multi-channel fundraising efforts (direct mail, digital campaigns, phone outreach, and social media appeals) to increase donor engagement and retention.
- Identify, engage, solicit, and steward annual giving donors and prospects, ensuring alignment with targeted yearly goals.
- Collaborate with the Database Systems Manager to track fundraising results, compile donor data, and analyze key metrics to measure progress toward organizational goals.
- Work closely with Development Staff to maximize fundraising efforts, streamline campaign execution, and improve donor experience.
2. Donor Relations, Communication, & Engagement
- Develop, schedule, and execute fundraising emails and donor appeals using platforms like Virtuous or Mailchimp.
- Oversee the donor acknowledgment process, ensuring that all gifts are properly documented and stewarded.
- Participate in prospect strategy sessions and portfolio reviews to identify, segment, and cultivate donors effectively.
3. Data-Driven Fundraising Strategy & Pipeline Development
- Research current and prospective donors, assessing giving history and philanthropic capacity to build a pipeline from annual giving to major and planned gifts.
- Stay informed on annual giving best practices, leveraging data analytics and market trends to make strategic recommendations that improve fundraising effectiveness.
- Work closely with the Database Systems Manager to ensure seamless integration of donor information and track the impact of fundraising campaigns.
4. Special Projects & Additional Responsibilities
- Support fundraising events and donor stewardship activities as needed.
- Assist in producing fundraising materials, campaign collateral, and impact reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the fundraising and development team.
Qualifications
Education & Experience Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree
- At least one year of fundraising experience (preferably with a faith-based ministry or nonprofit organization – philanthropy, advancement or development department).
- Experience in donor communications, direct appeals, or digital fundraising is strongly preferred.
Technical & Professional Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to craft compelling fundraising appeals.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment independently when interacting with donors, spiritual mentors, and stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs-sheets-slides…Mailchimp or similar email platforms.
- Familiarity with Virtuous, Raiser's Edge, Salesforce, or other donor management platforms – CRM's.

- Practicing Catholic preferred but not required.
