Material Handler (Entry Level)

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As part of the Production Control department, the Material Handler pulls kits of parts and materials for job completion, monitors workstation inventory, and makes sure parts are delivered to correct work centers on time and with correct system documentation. Reports to the Production Control Lead. The ideal candidate will have the ability to stay organized and deliver in a fast-paced environment. This is a fantastic entry-level position, with room for advancement, for someone who likes to keep moving and maintain an organized workflow. On-the-job training is provided. Learn a New Skill. Other expectations may include:

  • Move aircraft parts from receiving to their inventory location
  • Take completed kits of parts and assemblies to their inventory location
  • Move aircraft parts and assemblies between departments
  • Occasionally moves materials up to 40 lbs between carts and shelves
  • Simple inventory updates in the computer system
  • Complete inventory counts
  • Maintain clean and organized inventory areas

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Must be detail-oriented, self-directed, self-motivated, and prompt
  • Strong organizational, and time management skills
  • Friendly personality and good communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Capable of learning quickly and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle several tasks at once or change direction promptly if requested
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future
