Load Tracker/ Logistics Support
Summary
The Load tracker is responsible for the effectiveness of the operations staff by doing a daily check call on all loads for the Flatbed and Van Operations group. Other duties as instructed on a daily basis by the Operations Manager or Office Administrator.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Must perform a daily check call to the carrier to get a current location and confirm on-time delivery.
- Communicate to the Operations group as to the progress of their loads and alert them of any issues that will prevent on-time delivery.
- Run a set of daily reports for the Operations Manager and the Operations group. Assist Operations manager with other tasks related to operations.
- Responsible for issuing comcheck advances for operations group.
- Responsible for stuffing and mailing A/R statements beginning of each month.
- Working with our A/R department with the customer requests.
Education and Experience
- No previous transportation or logistics experience required.
- Must be able to use a computer, fax machine, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge with MS Word, MS Excel preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:
- The anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $20.00 - $24.50. Hourly pay rate offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, and geographic location as compared to others doing substantially similar work . In addition to the hourly rate of pay, employees may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which can vary depending on individual and/or company performance.
