Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant, reporting directly to an assigned member of management, provides general administrative support to the departments and will ensure that all administrative functions are processed and completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Essential Functions:
• Support the assigned member of management and the department in all daily activities.
• Answer phone calls promptly, professionally, and judiciously.
• Provide backup support for other management as needed. Coordinate with other administrative staff to ensure proper coverage for assigned departments.
• Receive, sort, and distribute mail.
• Prepare reports and presentations as directed.
• Handle attendance tracking of Associates as assigned.
• Manage office supplies as assigned.
• Schedule appointments, meetings, and events.
• Reconcile Travel and Expense forms and Corporate Card Statements as assigned.
• Draft routine correspondence and documents as required.
• Manage office equipment (printer, copier, etc.).
• Develop and maintain a filing system in accordance with company policies and document management protocols.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.
Education & Experience/Abilities:
- High School Diploma required.
- A.A. Degree or equivalent from an accredited college preferred.
- Six (6) months to one (1) year of related experience is preferred.
- Must have strong general PC knowledge with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and professionally in accordance with departmental policies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritize assignments, and follow up with colleagues to ensure the completion of assigned tasks.
- Ability to demonstrate a thorough understanding of administrative-related functions.
