Job Summary:

The Pediatric Services Office Assistant will assist with the administration of evaluations/cases. This individual may be responsible for working for one of various departments such as  Staffing, Case Management, or Evaluations.

Please note that this is not a remote position 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Document all conversations and correspondence in reference to a child's case
  • Obtain reports and paperwork necessary for a child’s file, including  signatures, insurance, medicals and consents.
  • File and update all paperwork required for a child’s file; ensure 100% receipt of all required documents and paperwork.
  • Run and analyze reports to ensure weekly/monthly goals are met, as well as on-time compliance with EarIy Intervention timelines
  • Conduct monthly audits and parent surveys to ensure the quality of work
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications and Other Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree a plus
  • Proven experience in a customer facing position, preferably in a health care environment
  • Strong phone and active listening skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to set priorities and goals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Bilingual Spanish/English a plus

Physical Requirements of the Role:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time up to 90% of the work day working on a computer/electronic device.
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).

  • Compensation: Full-time hourly non-exempt $19-$20  per hour
  • Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm Must Be Willing To Work Overtime As Needed. This position is in office.
