Dessert Holdings is looking for a Customer Fulfillment Specialist to join our corporate HQ team in St. Paul, MN.  Individuals on this team are responsible for receiving, processing and ensuring successful order fulfillment on a day-to-day basis.  As the first line of contact for order management, responsible to communicate cross functionally and troubleshooting for pricing, supply chain, and logistics issues that hinder successful order fulfillment.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage order fulfillment process internally and externally to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any order-related issues.
  • Ensure timely and successful order entry and follow up for customer orders consistent with company document control procedures.
  • Own the internal communication process with cross-functional teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Responsible for keeping customers communications up to date and delivering exceptional customer service for day-to-day order processing.
  • Primary point of contact for customer replenishment team and responsible for building long-term relationships with customers.
  • Coordinate the closing of month-end sales with Finance as required.
  • Post daily sales orders, investigate for shortages/overages, document and communicate as appropriate with all internal and external stakeholders.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business OR 3 to 5 years of proven account management, inside sales, or other relevant experience
  • CPG experienced preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Experience in problem solving, and delivering solutions cross-functionally and to the customer
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail and prioritizing
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
