Dessert Holdings is looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner to join our corporate HQ team in St. Paul, MN to utilize strong knowledge of business and operations functions in order to partner with hiring managers and leaders as a trusted, strategic advisor to develop and execute sourcing and recruiting strategies to attract the best talent.  This position works collaboratively with site HR leaders in order to coach and guide through the recruiting process.  

This is not a remote position - the hired individual will need to be present in the St. Paul office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and maintain effective business relationships with HR partners, site and functional leadership in order to drive the full-cycle recruitment process for salaried professional positions in assigned locations or business areas.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR leaders to identify talent needs, promote jobs, source active and passive candidates, lead the interview and selection process, and guide new hires to a seamless onboarding process.
  • Utilize job descriptions to develop compelling job postings that promote the employment opportunity and employer brand.
  • Deliver an excellent employee experience from initial contact to interview scheduling to post-offer and onboarding.
  • Contribute to the Talent Acquisition function's continuous improvement of recruiting efficiency, process optimization, tools, training, and support materials.
  • Coordinate with external vendors such as search firms, relocation vendor, and sourcing providers as needed.
  • Proactively build candidate pipelines to develop and maintain candidate pools for high-demand roles.
  • Ensure all hiring activities comply with local, state, and federal guidelines and company policies.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related business field.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably with experience in manufacturing and operations.
  • Strong computer skills and prior hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake, and other systems.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to multitask and juggle multiple projects, adjusting priorities quickly as needed.
  • Ability to travel to company sites occasionally, no more than 10%.
