Mfg - Finishing I

Summary of Position:

 

This position is responsible for general processing and tasks at the finishing level.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

 

  • Daily use of a microscope, for verification of product.
  • Safe removal of pouches, coupons, and parts from boards with a safety knife or other tools.
  • Ensure delivery of product through the facility, safely.
  • Provide input for improved manufacturability.
  • Monitor action items list and make progress against those assigned to you.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts by identifying systematic problems.
  • May be required to cross train in other departments.                                    
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
  • This position may require overtime for coverage on alternate shifts and weekends.

 

Requirements: (Work Experience, Education, Certifications, Licenses)

 

  • Must be motivated to make improvements and be a self-starter on projects.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Works safely to prevent injuries and follows all safety regulations
  • Basic machine shop skills strongly preferred.           
  • Basic machine set up skills strongly preferred- (setting up plates on machine, alignment of tooling pins).              
  • Ability to provide timely, cost-effective solutions to problems.                                                                               
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret customer documentation/drawings.         
  • Must be a team player and be willing to interface with and assist other workgroups as necessary.             
  • Ability to multi-task and drive department toward business and departmental goals.
  • Ability to work standing for extended periods of time and able to lift up to 25 lbs. safely. 
  • Basic Computer experience - Microsoft Office-Outlook/Word/Excel.
  • 2+ Years PCB experience a plus.
