Summary:

 

The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for managing the strategic development, planning and implementation of corporate brand communications that align with the company’s marketing, business development and sales objectives. This position requires a high level of leadership, professionalism, project management and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

 

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the creation, launch, and monitoring of corporate communication and branding resources in alignment with corporate strategies
  • Ensure that all assets meet corporate and brand guidelines and quality requirements
  • Support development of diverse assets, including advertising (print & digital), emails, trade show materials, video, photography, etc.
  • Responsible for material development, timeline development, coordination of review & approvals, and production for printed and digital materials
  • Coordinate and support distribution and maintenance of the sales and business development teams’ customer and client communications
  • Develop product sell sheets, new product launch announcements, sales brochures and promotional material
  • Provide strategic marketing partnership to key internal customers; understand business objectives and present integrated solutions
  • Manage promotional item inventory, budget, and external contractor coordination
  • Monitor and maintain marketing budget and perform monthly operational expenditure reconciliation
  • Maintain the company website and work with development partners as needed
  • Develop and oversee social media to build brand awareness and engage customers
  • Facilitate logistical activities to support events and other business priorities
  • Oversee the company’s trade show schedule, budget and planning including ordering all booth needs, logistics for materials delivery and setup, and staffing when needed
  • Other duties as assigned by the CCO or Senior Management Team

Required Qualifications:

  • At minimum, a bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience in sales and/or marketing preferred
  • Conference, event planning or project management experience
  • Strong and proven organizational, analytical, problem solving and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Website content management knowledge preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • High attention to detail and highly organized
  • Ability to remain focused while working on multiple tasks and projects
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Effective at building trust and collaborative internal and external relationships
  • Willing to take initiative and work with limited direction
  • Ability to travel 10% - 15% of the time.

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in marketing and/or business management a plus
