North Shore Veterinary Hospital is seeking a motivated, professional, team-oriented person to join our team as a veterinary receptionist to join our team part time or full time. Applicant should be able to work 7:30-6:30 2-4 days a week. We have been AAHA accredited for over 40 years, and was the first Fear Free certified practice in Minnesota (7th in the United States). Core responsibilities include:

• Being the first point of contact when entering our hospital, so a positive and upbeat attitude is a must!
• Helping check in appointments
• Assisting team members in getting weights on animals when they enter the building
• Being a "runner", getting medications and prescription foods out to the parking lot. 
• Salting / light snow shoveling during winter season.

Candidates must have customer service experience, be able to lift and carry 40 pounds, be comfortable with dogs and cats in both life and death, and be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment. An ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented and calm under pressure, with excellent communication skills and a compassionate heart for people and their pets. Candidates who enjoy working in a collaborative environment would thrive at NSVH.
