Business Systems Analyst
Summary
The Business System Analyst plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between our technical capabilities and business objectives. The primary responsibility will be to assist in analyzing business needs, documenting requirements, and implementing technological solutions that enhance our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in analyzing and defining business processes and system requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and technology team.
- Participate in the development and implementation of business solutions by analyzing requirements; studying system capabilities; identify and communicating specifications.
- Facilitate communication between departments and tech team to ensure clear understanding of project requirements and objectives.
- Help in the evaluation of business systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and developing solutions to address these needs.
- Support in conducting and coordinating User Acceptance Testing to ensure the solutions meet business requirements and are user-friendly.
- Maintain and update documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in technology and business analysis practices to contribute to continuous improvement within the team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex information.
- Basic understanding of business processes and project management principles.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle preferred) and other manufacturing software systems.
- Strong Excel & data analysis skills.
- SQL experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Ability to remain flexible to meet constantly changing and sometimes opposing demands.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in leading process improvement projects preferred.
