Program Management Officer

The Program Management Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of contractual agreements by overseeing all activities and deliverables. This role requires exceptional program management skills, strong organizational capabilities, and the ability to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders to achieve program objectives.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Program Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP) are highly desirable.
  • Experience:

    • At least 7 years of experience in program management, with a proven track record in managing contracts and deliverables.
    • Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining deadlines and quality standards.
  • Skills:

    • Strong understanding of project management principles and best practices.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with stakeholders and teams.
    • Exceptional organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to develop and maintain program documentation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Contractual Oversight:

    • Ensure all program activities and deliverables align with the terms and conditions of the contract.
  2. Performance Monitoring:

    • Track program progress and performance metrics.
    • Identify and address any deviations or issues to maintain program alignment with goals.
  3. Stakeholder Coordination:

    • Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure seamless execution and alignment of program objectives.
  4. Documentation Management:

    • Develop and maintain comprehensive program documentation, including schedules, reports, and regular status updates.
  5. Guidance and Support:

    • Provide strategic guidance and support to project teams to enable the successful delivery of objectives and outcomes.

Key Competencies:

  • Leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Knowledge of tools and methodologies for program and project management (e.g., MS Project, Agile frameworks).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
