Technician / Mechanic - Shop Battery Repair

Job Summary

The Shop Battery Apprentice Technician will efficiently perform quality repairs on industrial batteries. The Shop Battery Apprentice Technician will project a positive, supportive and professional image to all of the dealership's customers, fellow associates, and dealership management while continuously practicing safe personal and work area habits.

 

General Duties and Responsibilities

Water industrial batteries
 
Perform planned maintenance on industrial batteries
 
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform minor repairs on industrial batteries
 
Complete paperwork such as work orders, timecards, and support information
 
Operate lift trucks and equipment as required
 
Promote ProLift Toyota Material Handling’s values, mission and purpose of “Helping People Carry the Load” to ensure we are customers’, vendors’ and associates’ “Indispensable Partner”.
 

 

Educational/Job Requirements

High School Graduate or Equivalent?
 
Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical / electronic systems, ability to read and understand electrical schematics
 
Proficient written/verbal communication and customer service skills
 
Valid Driver's License, good driving record and ability to safely operate lift trucks
 
Two years' experience preferred
