Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Digital Marketing Specialist to work in the dynamic aviation industry.  As part of our team, you'll be developing, implementing, and analyzing digital marketing strategies that not only drive success but also enhance the experience of pilots, passengers, and aviation professionals who rely on our products, services, and facilities. You'll work closely with the multiple departments, gaining insights into the unique aspects of marketing within the aviation industry, from targeting specific segments of the aviation community to understanding the needs and interests of pilots and aircraft owners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the creation, design and maintenance of Banyan's websites: banyanair.com, banyanpilotshop.com, egbehospital.org, egbecollegeofnursing.org, and fboessentials.com.
  • Must be able to create various types of content for each website and blog and is responsible for expanding Banyan's digital footprint, awareness, and leads. Must be able to identify and execute opportunities to improve Banyan's search rank for key terms at the top, middle, and bottom (branded) of our marketing funnel.
  • Develop and implement web code and design standards for creating user friendly, aesthetically pleasing and SEO friendly websites.
  • Must be familiar and have knowledge of AI
  • Blog on an ongoing basis to support and promote Banyan's offers and to attract site visitors through search, social media, and email subscribers.
  • Assist with growing our subscriber base by providing them with regular, helpful content that's aligned with their needs and interests.
  • Manage both on-page SEO and off-page SEO for Banyan.
  • Work with Banyan's departments and our partners to ensure that keywords drive traffic. Manage and improve organic search engine performance and goal-setting based on click-through rates, traffic, and conversions.
  • Analyze customer behavior and sales patterns on the website by analyzing website traffic activity and recommend actions. 
  • Develop and manage of digital marketing campaigns across various platforms, including social media, email, and paid ads.
  • Contribute to content creation for our website and social media channels, including writing blog posts, creating graphics, and basic video production.
  • Create webpages and graphics for WordPress websites, ensuring they are visually appealing, optimized for search engines, and in line with our branding guidelines.
  • Help with SEO and SEM initiatives, including keyword research and content optimization.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance using analytics tools, identifying trends, and suggesting improvements.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas for marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • Requires a degree in the Marketing or a related field plus a minimum of 5 years experience
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing principles and strategies.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics tools.
  • Knowledge and a creative eye for taking photos and video, demonstrating a capability to produce visually appealing content.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Creative thinker with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced industry.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), CapCut, MailChimp and Canva a plus.
