Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Cell/Line Lead Fiber Product Manufacturer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fiber optic manufacturing processes and a proven track record of leadership in a production environment. This role offers the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals and contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the manufacturing process of fiber optic products, ensuring adherence to quality standards, production schedules, and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate production activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization, to meet production targets and customer requirements.
  •  Train and mentor production team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
  •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and logistics, to resolve production issues and improve processes.
  •  Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and drive cost savings in the manufacturing process.
  •  Monitor production metrics and performance indicators, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Perform hands-on assembly and installation of fiber optic cables according to industry standards and specifications.
  •  Ensure proper termination, splicing, and testing of fiber optic cables to maintain optimal performance.

Team Leadership and Safety Compliance

Lead the team in adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members. This includes providing guidance, support, and training on safety measures, conducting regular risk assessments, and implementing emergency response plans. By prioritizing safety, you demonstrate a commitment to the well-being of your team and promote a culture of safety consciousness.

Qualifications

  •  Proven experience in fiber optic cable assembly and installation, with at least [X years] in a leadership role.
  •  Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of fiber optic cable types, connectors, splicing techniques, and testing procedures.
