Entertainer

Summary:

Sings as soloist, member of vocal ensemble, or band to entertain audience by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Interprets music to present characterization or to achieve individual style of vocal delivery.

2. Sings, following printed text and musical notation, or memorizes score

3. Sings a cappella or with musical accompaniment.

4. Writes or rewrites music for vocal delivery, creates customized songs for special events, etc. as needed.

5. Entertains in Buzzard Bar, at Chuck Wagons, Camp Fire Wagon Rides, Cattle Drives or similar settings.

6. Entertains for company meetings or events as needed.

7. Makes recordings.

8. Will perform other duties as required.

Education and/or Experience:

Preferred: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Other Skills and Abilities:

The ability to work well with a team, to prioritize, a sense of urgency and a real concern for guest satisfaction.

Other Qualifications:

Will assist the Stables Manager as a retained consultant, assisting as necessary in strategic planning or with major projects.
