Personal Assistant in the Pacific Northwest

Active executive couple with a large rural estate are looking to hire an experienced and mature Personal Assistant to provide personal service, elevate and maintain service standards, and ensure the smooth running of their residence (which is located in the Spokane, WA area).

 

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a single point of contact for the principals regarding the residence.
  • Understand and help manage personal and professional information for the principals.
  • Complete organizational projects, including closets, pantries, and storage areas.
  • Courteous, efficient, and accurate handling of phones, doors, messages, and deliveries, etc.
  • Maintain digital household calendar and the principal’s personal calendar (iCal).
  • Frequently drive principals and guests; run household errands, including procurement and stocking for the home.
  • Schedule household maintenance; interface with vendors and service providers on tasks relating to household maintenance.
  • Fleet Management
  • Provide guest service; manage guest arrivals, departures, and schedules.
  • Draft correspondence, including responding to invitations and processing mail.
  • Process and respond to charitable requests. 
  • Secure reservations and tickets concerts, plays, exhibits, and other recreational activities.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel for the principals.
  • Care for family dog.

 

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working as a personal assistant or house manager for a private residence or estate, with the proven ability to build and lead a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to effectively communicate and interact with the principals, family office, and other long-term trusted staff members.
  • Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and a strong aesthetic sense.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable driving on mountain roads and in inclement weather.
  • Discreet and mindful of the principals’ privacy; display integrity and follow-through.
  • Must be comfortable working in a home with a large and friendly dog.

 

Schedule:

Generally, a five-day work week, with flexibility.

 

Compensation:

Compensation of $130,000 to $150,000+ offered, depending on experience on qualifications, with benefits; a relocation package is available, and qualified and experienced household management professional from across the country are invited to apply. Temporary living accommodations available during the relocation period if needed.
