Machine Operator

 

Bay Converting, Inc. in Green Bay, WI is looking for hire a full-time Machine Operator.  Would you like to work for a company that values their employees with a supportive team environment?  If you have paper converting experience, then we may have the opportunity for you!

This role operates machines that fold both non-woven and paper material and troubleshoots any mechanical issues that could occur.  The right person will check the material for quality and quantity, safely operates the equipment while adhering to safety rules, and performs inspections and quality checks specific to that area, along with other expectations.

This is a first shift, full-time position in a friendly and fast-paced environment.  The work schedule can vary from week to week with either 5 – 8-hour shifts or 4 – 10-hour shifts.  Overtime may be needed by customer demand, which also in some cases could include Saturdays.

The job requirements are:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years' operating machines in the paper converting industry.
• Production Goals: Ensure daily production meets scheduled requirements.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with electronic control panels preferred.
• Forklift Operation: Experience operating a forklift is a plus.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand on concrete for extended periods and walk to adjust equipment and load cases/cartons.
• Reading Skills: Ability to read work orders and understand production requirements to ensure quality output.
