EMEA, HR Manager

The EMEA HR Manager will provide strategic, and at times, tactical Human Resources support through innovative and practical solutions that support the overall mission and goals of the assigned geographic region.  This individual will ensure implementation of corporate and regional plans, services and actions including the following: talent development, recruiting, selection, staffing, succession planning, labor and employee relations, compensation, and benefits administration, coaching and training, performance improvement, and issue escalation and resolution.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

  • Provides HR functional expertise, advice, and counsel to regional leaders.
  • Provide guidance and training to site HR personnel, supervisors, and managers in the areas of policy interpretation and application and assistance with various employee relations issues.
  • In coordination with the corporate Compensation and Benefits Departments, ensure effective salary, wage, and benefit programs are provided.
  • Guide HR personnel in maintaining favorable employee relations climates through counseling and advising employees, developing, and administering various employee relations activities, and promoting communications between employees and management.
  • Conduct research into personnel programs and activities and recommend changes or innovations where desirable.
  • Represent regional interests in recommending changes to HR policies, programs, practices, and benefits.
  • Evaluate and monitor the selection, promotion, placement, training, and termination of hourly, salaried non-exempt, and salaried exempt personnel (in coordination with the corporate Staffing Department) to ensure a well-qualified and effective workforce.
  • Support company-wide HR initiatives and help other business units as necessary.
  • Multi-tasking over several different client bases, delivering organizational leadership in support of the HR business model, and influencing the EVP and other leaders, over those different client groups.
  • Manage and lead projects and/or teams as required to integrate and coordinate HR activities within a business function, or multiple business groups.
  • Managerial/Supervisory Responsibility: Recruit, select, manage, and develop employees, if applicable. Make decisions regarding hiring, promotions, salary adjustments, discipline, and any other changes of employee status.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related curriculum and 10+ years of related experience is required. 
  • Must have excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communications skills, with a working knowledge of relevant software.
  • Ability to act as a full scope generalist, assisting with all levels of management.
  • Must have broad regional expertise.
