Director, FP&A (Controller)

The FP&A Director will partner with Operations, Product Line, Sales, and R&D and be a critical leader in the oversight and management of the financial results of the product line.  As a Business Partner, they will proactively identify improvements, work to develop the financial acumen of the leadership team and determine and implement short and long-term strategies concerning efficiencies and profitability.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World:

  • Develop, interpret, and report financial information to the Product Line leadership team, Segment CFO, and Segment CEO in compliance with specified requirements.
  • Serve as a key member of the management team and partner with them in making financially sound business decisions for revenue growth, profit maximization and cost minimization.
  • Maintain and develop key performance measures and tracking systems to measure progress and identify focus areas for improvement.
  • Partner with manufacturing sites to develop strategies to meet short and long-term objectives of the business.
  • Analyze financial results and trends, be able to interpret and communicate clearly to management the results and their drivers.
  • Analyze historical trends and various management inputs to develop accurate forecasts.
  • Support financially decisions around capital, inventory positions, manufacturing footprints to drive an effective use of capital.   

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a relevant subject area and ten or more years of experience in FP&A, cost accounting, or financial accounting.
  • High level of proficiency in Excel spreadsheets and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Consistent track record in handling and controlling costs, effectively developing cases and influencing at all levels within the organization into action.
  • Leadership skills to strategically and operationally develop the team to meet goals of the company and objectives.
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills with proven experience articulating to all levels of an organization.

You Will Excite Us If You Have:

  • History of global financial management for a manufacturing company.
  • Ability to support a dynamic financial environment.
  • Working knowledge of SAP ERP, Business Objects (SAP report writer), and Hyperion Finance Management.
  • CMA and/or CPA
