Qualifications:Minimum of 15 year(s) of experience in Financial Management or Record Keeping. OR BA/BS Degree in Financial Management, Record Keeping, Business Administration. - Valid State Driver?s license.

Duties:Duties will be performed from the NRCS State Office in Auburn, AL. This position is responsible for providing support to the State Financial Resource Specialist performing various duties related to program fiscal management and analysis. This position is responsible for the generation, retrieval, and review of financial reports and other data that represent the financial transactions for Farm Bill programs, grants, and agreements. Demonstrates and maintains knowledge, support, and awareness of the Equal Opportunity and Civil Rights policy. Performs all duties in a manner that consistently demonstrates fairness, cooperation, and respect toward co-workers, office visitors, and all others in the performance of official This position will assist with various professional capacity duties with program management and analysis. This position will develop spreadsheets, provide analysis of funding efforts, and assist with strategic operations efforts.
- Assists with processing grants, agreements, and contracts. 15%
- Review payment requests for completeness and accuracy before approval for grants, agreements, and contracts. 10%
- Assists with gathering required data to support audits, budgets, or other financial-related transactions. 30%
- Assists with various tracking databases to support timekeeping, state budgets, or other assigned databases. 35%
- Assist with various file management tasks including SharePoint, Teams, and Shared drives. 10%
