Human Resources Manager

 

Position Summary:

A client based in Boston is hiring a Human Resources Manager to join their established team.

This is an office-based role.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, track, and document compliance with training, continuing education, and work assessments.
  • Assist with the recruitment and hiring for various roles; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required.
  • Periodically visit staff at various properties on the East Coast to promote employee engagement.
  • Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Perform tasks to administer HR programs.
  • Handle inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate team member.
  • Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations as needed.
  • Report to and assist the HR Director.
  • Help maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Schedule:

Generally, Monday to Friday, business hours with flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as requested.

 

Compensation:

Base compensation of $100,000 - $120,000 offered, depending on experience.
